Power outage affects 11,000

SANDPOINT — Avista and Northern Lights, Inc., restored power to a combined 11,000-plus people after a number of power outages were reported across the county.

Power was restored to customers by 5 p.m.

Avista reported 4,064 customers affected by the outage in the Priest River and Sagle areas. NLI reported 7,156 customers affected in the Priest Lake, Priest River, Laclede, Sandpoint, Sagle and Cocolalla areas.

While NLI did not have an estimated restoration time, crews worked to resolve all outages as quickly and safely as possible, according to their website.
