Constitution course being offered in Sandpoint

The community is invited to attend Constitution Alive, a non-partisan course on the original intent of the country’s founding documents.

A DVD tour through the constitution and Bill of Rights, featuring David Barton and Rick Green, nationally known constitutional scholars. The course offers a chance to learn more about executive orders, recess appointments, the Electoral Colleges, the powers of both Congress and the president, freedom of religion and more. This six-week, one-of-a-kind study of the meaning and purpose of the original Constitution is being offered free of charge.

The course will be held beginning Saturday, May 25, from noon-2:30 p.m. and continues for six weeks. The course, which is being hosted by Gene and Carol Fields of Sagle, will be held at Regeneration Calvary Chapel, 418 N. Third Ave, Suite A, Sandpoint.

The course is free but organizers are asking $15 to cover the cost of a workbook for the course. Workbooks will be available at the door.

A certificate of completion will be provided at the last class for attendees who have take part in all six classes.
