Families sought for Youth Exchange

SANDPOINT — The Rotary Club of Sandpoint’s Youth Exchange Program is seeking three more host families for two inbound students.

The two young ladies are arriving from Brazil and Peru in August. Exchange students typically have two to three host families throughout the year, so the stay with each family is three to four months.

While the first host families have been identified for both teens, one is in need of a family for the winter months of 2019-2020, and both students are in need of host families for spring 2020.

Host families are not required to be affiliated with the Rotary Club, though they will go through an extensive vetting process. Host families can also be a single adult or couple, with or without kids.
