American Legion Baseball starts today

The American Legion’s North Idaho Lakers will play their first games of the season this afternoon at War Memorial Field and Pine Street Field.
Opening day ceremonies will begin at 12:45 p.m. with a flag presentation by American Legion Post 15, a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Ben Robinson and the ceremonial first pitch from Senator Jim Woodward.
The games kick off with the NI Lakers Senior Single A (U19) team versus Moscow Blue Devils for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at War Memorial Field, followed by the 16U team taking on the Moscow Blue Devils at Pine Street Field for a doubleheader that starts at 2 p.m.
In the night-cap, the NI Lakers Juniors AA (U17) will play Cheney at War Memorial Field at 5 p.m.
