Youth day at the range announced

SANDPOINT — Bring your kids (ages 8-18) to the city’s outdoor shooting range on June 15-16 for a free day of safety education, shooting and family bonding.

The range has 14 covered shooting stations. Ammunition, shooting benches, targets, hearing and eye protection, .22 rifles, snacks, beverages, and volunteer NRA-certified instructors and range officers will be provided. This family event is brought to you by Brownells/NRA Day and the Bonner County Sportsmen’s Association.

Preregister online at sandpoint.gov/parksrecreation before the June 9 registration deadline. Various time slots are offered, but limited to 14 youth per time slot.
