Lake Pend Oreille level on the rise

SANDPOINT — The elevation of Lake Pend Oreille is on the climb, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Outflows at the Albeni Falls Dam on the Pend Oreille River decreased from 48,000 cubic feet per second to 45,000 cfs, the corps said in an update.
The lake’s level is tracking toward a level of 2,059.75 feet to 2,060.75 feet by this weekend.
