ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Sandpoint Ontario & Florence Sidewalk Connectivity Project 2019 Separate sealed BIDS for Ontario & Florence Sidewalk Connectivity located at Sandpoint, Idaho and other related work as set forth in the Contract documents will be received by City of Sandpoint at 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID 83864, until 2:00:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, June 13, 2019 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The work generally includes removal and reconstruction of sidewalks and construction of new sidewalks along Ontario Street, between Olive Avenue and South Ella Avenue, and along South Florence Avenue, between Ontario Street and Erie Street in Sandpoint, Idaho. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Sandpoint as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
