| May 30, 2019 1:00 AM

A half-dozen students from Bonner and Boundary counties attended a breakfast to honor the 72 high school students who earned their associate degrees through the dual credit program at North Idaho College.

Those earning their degree and attending the breakfast are: Michael Cardinal, Bonners Ferry High School; Gabrielle Hagman, Priest River Lamanna High School; Beverly Landeros, Priest River Lamanna High School; Christina Tefft, Priest River Lamanna High School; Coleman Vaughn, Forrest Bird Charter High School; and Isaac Solly, Forrest Bird Charter High School.

Pictured are the 46 students enrolled in both high school and North Idaho College who attended a graduation breakfast Friday, May 10, in the Edminster Student Union Building. There were 72 candidates eligible for graduation.

“The NIC dual credit breakfast celebrates the hard work and dedication of high school students that complete their two-year AA degree before they graduate high school,” said Marcy Hoggatt, NIC dual credit coordinator. “It’s always a wonderful event for the students as well as their families.”
