HAYDEN — The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center is landing at its new home at the Coeur d'Alene Airport and is expected to open Saturday. A Facebook update from the museum states that the WACO and Chipmunk aircrafts were flown from the museum's previous location at the Bird Ranch in Sagle earlier this week. Everything went well.

"We are so excited to see the place come together, and it's starting to look like a museum again," the post said. "We anticipate the SeaBee will fly down sometime this week."

Work will continue on the museum throughout the week. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with changes posted on social media.

The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center is at 2678 W. Cessna Ave. in Hayden.
