Vote for Shelby Rognstad for Sandpoint mayor

During his time in City Council and as mayor, I’ve been impressed and have grown to respect Shelby Rognstad’s balanced and informed approach to Sandpoint’s ongoing challenges and opportunities.

This along with his adherence to upholding civility, factual information, and the democratic processes are especially important to combat divisiveness and misinformation that are now part of the political landscape both locally and nationally.

As Mayor Rognstad does, I believe in confronting groups that try to divide our community and prey on the most vulnerable, so I support proactive approaches such as the Inclusion Initiative.

This in turn pays economic dividends, safeguards our city’s citizens, and follows the Sandpoint tradition of being an inclusive and vibrant city in Idaho.

I’m excited for the future of our community with Shelby Rognstad at the helm.
