Dana D. Bowman, 51, passed away in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019.

A mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, in St. Jospeph’s Catholic Church with Father Dennis C. Day officiating.

Dana was born in San Leandro, Calif. She grew up in the small town of Pittsburg, Calif. After moving around a bit, she settled down in her hometown and began a family of her own.

In 2000, Dana moved with her husband, children and mother to Sand-point, Idaho, to raise her family around family — aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dana never earned a degree. She never ran a company but she was a shining light for all she came into contact with. She was always ready and willing to help anyone and everyone.

She was amazing and gave the world her heart and the world was a better place for having her in it.

Dana is survived by her brother, Michael Irving; her mother, Mary Ellen Irving; her husband, Randy H. Bowman; and her children, Amanda Allen, Katelyn Scholes, Kimberly Scholes, Emma Lee Chapin, Joseph Orcutt, Adam D Bowman and Jeffrey L Bowman.

She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Irving; a sister, Leah Irving; her aunt,, Sandra Irving-Alamillo; and her first husband, William Scholes.
