Affiniti kicking off season with 'A Celtic Christmas'

| November 9, 2019 12:00 AM

Affiniti is thrilled to kickstart the 5th USA Christmas tour of their acclaimed show ‘A Celtic Christmas’ in the Panida Theatre in Sandpoint on Dec. 10.

The show will begin at 7 p.m.

Affiniti will be joined by the wonderful Howard Crosby, nephew of the great Bing Crosby as they invite the community to allow the sounds of the Celtic landscape and the voice of Christmas kickstart their holiday season.

Affiniti is an award winning Celtic music group from Ireland made up of soprano Emer Barry, violinist Mary McCague and harpist Teresa O’Donnell. The trio have all studied classical music but it is their deep connection to one another and to the culture of Ireland that has inspired their unique sound and indeed, the name of the group itself.

At the concert, the trio said you can expect to hear lots of your favourite Christmas songs including their chart-topping version of “O Holy Night” and a special duet of “White Christmas” with Howard Crosby, along with Irish favorites, such as “Danny Boy”.
