Cheryl Denise (Crawford) Prill, 65

Cheryl Denise (Crawford) Prill, 65, passed away in Spokane, Wash., on Nov. 1, 2019.

Cheryl was originally from Southern Califironia but had loving ties to Sandpoint, Idaho, from a young age. She enjoyed a long career in the food and beverage industry and had a particular talent for special events, party planning and interior decorating. She was known as “Mama” to everyone she knew and worked with — always the first to step up and help or go to for advice — but her favorite name was, “Gramma.” After residing in California for most of her life, she and her partner of 40 years, John, moved to the Seattle area to be closer to her children and grandbabies. Just over a decade later, they decided to travel for two years before ultimately returning to her beloved Idaho where they purchased their forever- home in Sand-point just a few weeks ago.

She is survived by John Stitt of Sandpoint; daughter Rebecca Prill of Lynnwood, Wash.; son Michael Prill of Burien, Wash.; mother Carol Crawford of Grants Pass, Ore.; sister Lara Lewis of Yorba Linda, Calif.; sister Susan Crawford of Williams, Ore.; her beautiful granddaughters Auria and Cayce; three bonus grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Prill; and her father, Harold Crawford.

NW Cremation of Spokane Valley will be handling cremation arrangements.
