'Elementary Holiday' plays planned

“Elementary Holiday” will kickstart your jolly holiday!

Forty-four Stratton Elementary students have written 36 funtastic Holiday mini-plays, and Pend Oreille Players will bring these scripts to life at the Pend Oreille Playhouse. That’s right, plays written by kids, brought to life by Kelle Ledbetter, Anna Jones, Ashlyn Dahl, Taylia Culver, Emily Johnson, Cord Alexander, Spenser Flint, Erin Zinke, and Peggy Alexander, for true holiday joy.

This diverse collection of characters is directed by Millie Brumbaugh. You may not see lions and tigers and bears, but you will see superheroes, santas and dragons — oh my!

Shows will be held at the Pend Oreille Playhouse on Dec. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7 p.m.; Sunday shows begin at 3 p.m.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults $12, $10 for seniors (65 and over) and $7 for students (18 and under). Advance tickets may be purchased online at pendoreilleplayers.org.
