Samter to teach wire ornament class

Are you looking to create special and unique ornaments for your Christmas tree — or the tree of someone you love?

Weezil Samter of Bonners Ferry will be teaching a copper wire ornament class on Dec. 11, from 3-5 p.m. at CREATE, 900 W. Fourth St., Newport, Wash.

The class is $15 with a minimum age of 8 and pre-registration is required, at Create, by mail (PO Box 1173, Newport WA 99156) or online createarts.org

CREATE — Community Resource Expression for the Arts Through Education — is a nonprofit organization that offers arts programs and classes for both youth and adults. Classes range from drawing, painting and illustration to performances, gardening and more.
