Writers guild hosting writing contest

The Palouse Writers Guild invites submissions to its First Chapter Writing Contest.

A $100 first prize is being offered. Second prize will be a $50 Book People gift card, and third prize is a $25 Book People gift card.

Also, Palouse Writers Guild and Book People of Moscow have teamed up in a fantastic lineup of 12 local authors presenting an amazing day of hand-selling a total of 41 books and meeting with the public on Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The evet is free and open to the public.
