Annual bazaar, craft sale on tap

SANDPOINT — The 2019 Christmas Bazaar and Craft Sale will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 601 S. Lincoln on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8.

Hours for the traditional fair are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday. There is no admission fee.

Vendors will present quality cottage crafts, including jewelry, candles, clothing, needlework, affordable holiday items and gifts, handmade soaps, honey, Candyman candies, jams, Grandpa Lloyd’s sweet hot mustard, baked goods, Christmas wreaths and swags and more.

Homemade soups and rolls will be served both days.

The event is sponsored by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Proceeds from the annual bazaar will benefit Kowak Mission in Tanzania and its girls school, hospital and church. Over the past 25 years, the money raised at this annual event has helped build a hospital and expand the boarding school through to high school, which works to further girls’ education.
