| November 30, 2019 12:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Wednesday’s windstorm kept anglers off the lake but Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club fisherman saw a return to action following the storm and a day off for Thanksgiving.

Even so, there were few changes to the leaderboard with only a new third place rainbow that weighed 19.54 pounds and measured 34 1/2 inches and was caught by Don Hale of Priest River.

Leading the adult rainbow is Denton McGlothlin of Sagle who nabbed a 23.68-pound, 36 1/2-inch beauty on Tuesday to claim the top spot. In second is Mike Blackstone of Sagle with a 20.16-pound, 35 1/2-inch rainbow. Hale is third, followed by Mike Mitale of Coeur d’Alene, who hooked a 19.44-pound, 33 3/4-inch fish Monday in fourth and in fifth place is James Carothers of Sagle, who caught an 18.58-pound rainbow that measured 33 inches.

Becky Sturgis of Coeur d’Alene continues to hold the top spot in the adult Mackinaw division with the 17.58-pound Mackinaw measuring 37 inches she caught on Saturday, the derby’s opening day. In second is Coeur d’Alene’s Don Houk, who caught an 11.22-pound, 29-inch Mack on Monday, followed by Art Webb with a 6.36-pound, 25 1/2 inch Mack in third, Dale Greene with a 4.66-pound, 25-inch fish in fourth, and Kenny Breeden with a 3.33-pound, 21-inch Mack in fifth.

Bert Dennett is ninth with a 1.76-pound, 17-inch fish and wrapping up the top 10 is Paul Millar with a 1.64-pound, 18-inch fish.
