SANDPOINT — If you want to be on point, you’ll want to head to The Point Salon.
The salon, owned by longtime nail technician Amber Kiebert, opened The Point on Aug. 21, first as a nail salon but has expanded the business to add additional staff and expand services to her clients.
With the addition of Heather Rhettke and Caitlyn Uecker since it opened, The Point has become a full-service salon providing a variety of services in one location.
Nail services include manicures, pedicures, gel polish and acrylic nail services, with an emphasis on artistic nail creations. Hair services offered are men’s and women’s cuts, and color services including balayage. In addition, the salon also offers hair extension installation. Additional services include body waxing, eyelash extensions, brow and lash tints, lash lifts, facials/ mini facials, and even tooth gems, which are rhinestones added to the teeth with dental grade resin).
“Our salon is unique in that we can provide various nail services with a high level of artistic and creative skills as well as every salon services a client could want,” Kiebert said.
The Point staff also are offering all of their beauty services to women, teens, and youth working through difficult life transitions through a new program that aims to boost confidence and inspire them to go after their dreams. Candidates in need of a “makeover” can enjoy hair and nail services plus skin services, waxing, and lash services all free of charge in a confidential, uplifting, supportive, and transformative salon space.
