Cody Nicholas Pitts, 32

Cody Nicholas Pitts, 32, passed away Sept. 13, 2019, in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Cody was born May 19, 1987, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Tammy McNutt. He attended elementary schools in Sandpoint and Hope, Idaho. In 2006, Cody graduated from Clark Fork Jr./Sr. High School.

Before an accident in 2006, Cody had plans to join the Army and have a family of his own.

He had a heart of gold, and was willing and ready to help others.

Cody is survived by his parents, Allie (Buster) and Tammy Whitt Jr. of Clark Fork; his papa, Delman McNutt Sr. of Sandpoint; his grandma, Mary Shroyer of Russells Point, Ohio; a brother, Keith (and Michelle) Pitts, and their four children, all of Hope; a sister, Ammie Trine, and her six children, all of Independence, Ore.; a sister, Tonya Pitts, and her six children, all of Sandpoint; a brother, Jeramy Pitts and his daughter, both of Clark Fork; and a sister, Corri (and Joseph) Swales and their five children, all of Clark Fork. He also is survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Cody was preceded in death by his Nana, Gladys A. McNutt, in 2011.

Cody will be missed and loved by all who knew him.

His family would like to thank everyone for their help, support, love and prayers.

On Oct. 19, 2019, at 2 p.m., there will be a celebration of life and a potluck at the Clark Fork Senior Center.
