SANDPOINT — A pair of first-half goals helped propel Sandpoint (10-3, 4-0 Inland Empire League) to a 2-0 victory over Moscow on Saturday at Pine Street Field and the No. 1 seed in the 4A Region 1 tournament.

“This is an expectation at this point,” Sandpoint coach Conor Baranski said.

No. 2 seed Moscow and No.3 seed Lakeland will play Monday in Moscow and the winner of that match will travel to Sandpoint to take on the Bulldogs in the regional championship Wednesday at Pine Street Field.
