NAMI talk looks at music therapy

Music therapist Michelle Handy-Fitzgerald will be the featured guest speaker at Wednesday’s NAMI Far North meeting.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is being held at the VFW Hall, 1325 Pine St., in Sandpoint.

Handy-Fitzgerald is the early childhood music director at the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint.

After the general meeting, participants will break out into support groups.

Everyone is welcome, particularly those living with mental illness, are a family member or a friend of someone with mental illness.
