1. Curiosity, civic opportunity and the challenge. I’m pursing ways to reinvest into my community.

2. I’ve lived, worked, rented and purchased in Sandpoint since 2001. I’ve experienced the mill becoming the Milltown Apartments. I remember Harold’s IGA before it became an awesome band. I’ve raised three daughter’s here and I’m a Union Representative in North Idaho. I’ve had the opportunity to drive and work all over the city and the county.

3. Affordable housing. I’d like people to live, work, purchase and recreate all in the same town. Adhering to the Comprehensive Master Plan. Make sure that we as a community are involved in our town’s growth. Being a good neighbor. Exchange ideas respectfully.

4. Become more engaged with citizens. Become more informed with policy. Become more involved with the increasing the quality of life in Sandpoint.

5. Affordable housing. Maintain the character of our neighborhoods. Accessibility to services.

6. Balance what the current owners want to do with their land while adhering to the codes and policies unique to that area.

7. Demand the safety of our lake and surrounding environment.

8. I want to activate my age group to get engaged, inform-ed and involved. Have their voice be heard and vote.

9. Wake-up, work out, read, eat, plan, go to work, repeat.

10. The view. Every question I ask leads to another insight. Every answer found leads to other opportunities.

11. I’m learning to speak slower and more precisely. My work schedule is de- manding, fortunately I am in and among my people daily.

12. Reclaim the middle ground. Activate the middle to become engaged, get more informed and be more involved.

13. Why do you love Sandpoint?

I love it because I have the opportunity to drive around in a park, delivering presents to my friends.
