1. I decided to run for city council, because I know my skills and ideas can be a benefit to the community. I would like to be more involved in the actions of the city and help make it a safe and beautiful place to raise our kids.

2. I have a wide variety of skills and I’m always excited to learn more. I run a successful business and all the work that was put into it was done by my wife and I.

I’m a creative, experienced business manager and a carpenter. I believe in getting the job done right the first time. I’m motivated and I think the city could use a person who represents the younger generation.

3. There isn’t just one issue and I’m sure priorities are different for everyone, but cleaning up is a good start. Cleanliness is very important anywhere you go. I think the whole town needs a facelift like the one downtown. We need to make Priest River the place that people can’t stop talking about. Making it an appealing place for more businesses and tourists can benefit everyone.

4. I believe we should find out what the whole community would like to see improved. I would suggest more meetings about the future projects and find out what most desired improvements are. I know we can’t please everyone, but why not try? If the city, local businesses and residents of this town all work as a team, we can achieve anything.

5. A community that our children would be proud of. How wonderful would it be if we can create opportunities for our children to stay, work and raise their children here. Isn’t this what every parent’s hope is for their kids — to have a great future as well as being close by? We can definitely do it by reviving this whole town.

6. Making plans on how to best use the budget, to benefit everyone in town.

7. Contributing to the community to make it a better place. I can’t wait to see Priest River at it’s full potential. We have such a great location, it’s a matter of making it shine again.

8. I’m not sure what criticism I might face, but I’m ready for a challenge. It makes life more interesting. With a smile on my face, I would put my best foot forward and still do my best to serve the community.

9. Let’s make Priest River great again.

10. How do you plan to involve the residents in the decision-making process in town?

Have more events where people can get to know all the city officials. People should feel comfortable to express their opinions and work together with the city on achieving all of our goals. I believe honesty and transparency are important factor in having a good relationship between the city and the residents.
