MCC set date for Harvest Dinner
HOPE — Memorial Community Center, 415 Wellington Place, invites everyone to its annual Harvest Dinner on Friday, Nov. 8.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with music, a no-host bar, complimentary appetizers, and fun-filled bucket raffles.
Following, at 6 p.m., a catered dinner by Memorial Community Center will take place. The dinner will feature roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, and dessert will be served.
“This event is an annual tradition at MCC and we hope you will plan on joining us,” Carolyn Speelmon, MCC site manager, said.
A total of 100 reservations will be sold. Reservations are $25 per person and must be paid for in advance. Reservations are available to purchase on the center’s website at memorialcommunitycenter.com, at the community center during the business hours of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by calling the center at 208-264-5481 to charge by phone.
The Hope Memorial Community Center is located at the intersection of Highway 200 and Centennial Road.
The center’s annual Harvest Dinner will also kick off MCC’s annual Christmas Giving Food Drive and those attending are asked to please bring non-perishable food items to donate, Speelmon said. Every guest who brings food items will receive some free bucket raffle tickets.
