Idol auditions coming to area

SANDPOINT — American Idol auditions are coming to Spokane this weekend as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan look for the next singing sensation.

Auditions will be held at the Grand Hotel Davenport, Autograph Collection, in Spokane on Sunday. Anyone interested in auditioning can pre-register at abc.go.com/shows/american-idol/auditions. While Idol hopefuls are encouraged to pre-register, registration will also be available on-site starting at 7 a.m. Auditions will begin at 9 a.m. and registration closes at 5 p.m. Anyone present and registered by 5 p.m. Sunday will be seen by the producers.
