Monthly book sale is set for Saturday

It’s book sale day once again and the Friends of the Library invites everyone to come be a part of the fun Saturday, Sept. 7.

The sale, held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., is featuring a wide array of book sets including Roman history and the history of San Diego, Calif. There is a set of Time Life western books, various volumes of Jean Auel’s “Clan of the Cave Bear”, and a series entitled “Everyman’s Classic Literature”.

Due to a generous donor, we also have a large collection of cookbooks. For parents, there is a wonderful collection of children’s books overseen by a FOL member who is a retired middle school librarian.

Last of all, here is a head’s up about next month. October 2019 is FOL’s 30th anniversary. There will be a event celebrating 30 years of putting books in the hands of the Sandpoint community and thereby benefiting the library. Those were the group’s only goals then and those remain its only goals now. Come on Saturday and come back on Oct. 5 to help FOL celebrate.
