First Presbyterian Church invites community to dedication, celebration

| September 6, 2019 1:00 AM

Pastor Andy Kennaly and members of the First Presbyterian Church of Sandpoint invite the community to join the congregation on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 417 N. Fourth Ave., at noon for the dedication of the church’s newly renovated front entry and community peace garden.

The congregation’s fall schedule also begins Sunday with worship services now starting at 10:30 a.m., inside the church sanctuary.

A brief dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place outside on the church’s new front steps at noon. The celebration will continue with a potluck lunch afterward in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The community is invited to join the congregation for any or all of these events: worship at 10:30 a.m., dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, and the potluck lunch immediately following.

The new front entry and community peace garden are the results of the hard work, prayers, and financial contributions of so many individuals, neighbors, members, and teams throughout the greater Sandpoint area and beyond.
