'Live and Learn' features jerky class

Just in time for hunting season, the Priest River Library’s Live & Learn program will host Boundary County Extension educator Amy Robertson, who will teach a class on jerky making.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. learn how to safely select, prepare and dry a variety of jerky meats including wild game, beef and turkey. Class includes samples and recipes. There will be a $5 materials fee and registration is required as space is limited.
