Wave hello to fall and its entertainment options

| September 26, 2019 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Time to wave goodbye to September and say a big hello to the fall season. Along with turning leaves and dropping temps, we’ve got a full complement of entertainment options.

Starting tonight and running through Sunday, it’s the annual tradition of the Manhattan Short Film Festival at the Panida.

On Friday (shameless plug) it’s the last public show of the year for the Bridges Home Trio at Pend d’Oreille Winery. We’d love to see your shining face there, but come early to grab a good listening table – the place fills up fast! Also Friday, Right Front Burner lays down the funk at the 219 Lounge and there’s a Tracy Grammer concert over at DiLuna’s.

Saturday features the 100,000 Poets for Change open mic event at Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters as local poets and musicians do their thing as part of a global effort.

Then, on Monday, Owen Benjamin hits the Panida stage for a comedy show.

Lots of action — go get some!
