Registration for Sandpoint youth volleyball league open

Sandpoint Parks and Recreation is gearing up for another youth volleyball season.

Registration for the league is now open and third through sixth graders are eligible to join.

The registration deadline is next Thursday and play starts Nov. 2 and runs through Dec. 7. Games will be played Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School.

Cost for one player is $33 for a Sandpoint resident and $38 for a non-resident, $56/$66 for two kids and $79/$89 for three.

Red and white jerseys that cost $14 are also required and partial scholarships are available.

Registration can be completed online at www,sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation or at the Parks and Recreation office at 1123 Lake St.

Volunteer coaches for the league are also needed and a coaches meeting will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday Oct. 16 and Friday Oct. 17 at the City Hall Council Chambers.
