Story of Hope from Rwanda featured at Lifetree Café

| September 27, 2019 1:00 AM

Hope and life’s purpose will be explored through a film featuring Rwandan John Gasangwa at Lifetree Café on Monday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m.

“John Gasangwa survived the horrors of starvation and war in part because he made a promise: If he finished his education, he’d serve his people,” says Lifetree Café representative Craig Cable. “That promise gave John purpose. A reason to live. We’ll hear his story and then see what we can learn about hope and purpose.”

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café meets at Jalapeno’s Mexican Restaurant, 314 N. Second Ave., Sandpoint.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to stan@followcommunity.org or 208-304-6465.
