Sheriff needs to stick to the job he was hired to do

Am I reading this correctly in Saturday’s Daily Bee that Sheriff Daryl Wheeler and Bonner County are suing the city of Sandpoint for allowing the Festival of Sandpoint to prohibit firearms at their annual concert series. Why the heck does anyone need to bring a firearm to one of the Festival’s concerts in the first place unless they are one of those whackos who plans on shooting a lot of people. My feeling is that unless you are wearing a badge you have no business bringing a gun to one of these concerts. What do you think you are doing, protecting yourself from one of the entertainers?

Come on Sheriff, stick to doing the job you were hired to do and stay out of politics.
