In accordance with the Governor's Stay-Home order, we currently plan to hold this meeting by teleconference and web-based meeting. The public meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020 to consider the following requests: 5:30 - File CUP0001-20 - Verizon Wireless Communication Tower - Sunrise PL, LLC is requesting a conditional use permit for the installation of a 175' stealth communications tower, outdoor equipment within a 30' x 30' fenced area, approximately 300' of new gravel road, and improvements of 675' of existing road on 7 acres. The property is zoned Recreation. The project is located off Reeder Bay Road onto a private easement in Section 17, Township 61 North, Range 4 West, Boise-Meridian. 6:00 - File V0005-20 - Front Yard Setback Variance - Gary Cartisano - is requesting a 12.5-foot front yard setback, where 25 feet is required, to allow for the construction of a new gable roof replacing an existing hip roof to control snow and allow for storage use above car stalls. STATE TIMBER SALE CR200372, TWELVE MILE A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 for an estimated 4,000 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $80,249.10 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $802,491.00. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price is $210.16 per MBF. The sale is located within Sections 10, 14, 15, 23, Township 55N, Range 05W, B.M., Bonner County, State of Idaho. Sale duration is 3 years. The sale may include blowdown and/or insect and disease infected timber which may result in additional volume and recovery reductions.
