Two Elks members hit aces

SANDPOINT — A pair of Sandpoint Elks members got aces on the golf course a week apart.
On Monday, Aug. 10, Bob Miller of Sandpoint got a hole-in-one on No. 1. Miller used a 6-iron on the 145-yard Par 3 and he claimed it was his first swing of the day.
This Monday, a week after Miller’s ace, Mike Keough of Sandpoint used a 7-iron on the 161-yard Par 3 18th to sink a hole-in-one of his own.
Both golfers will compete in the Club Championship at the Elks this Saturday and Sunday.
