WBCEA drawing supports teachers, local businesses

PRIEST RIVER — West Bonner County Educators Association recently handed out gift certificates as part of a drawing to support teachers and local businesses at the start of the school year.
New teachers and veteran members of the association were entered into drawings to win one of 10 gift certificates from Mitchell’s Harvest Foods and Infinity Cafe. Four new teachers to West Bonner County School District won gift certificates at their orientation in August and six veteran association members received gift certificates before the beginning of the holiday season, union officials announced in a press release.
WBCEA officials said they chose to purchase gift certificates from Infinity Cafe and Mitchell’s in order to support Priest River businesses while honoring the hard work educators are doing during the 2020/2021 school year.
