Wine, microbrew event announced

Friends of the West Bonner Libraries has set the date for the 19th annual Wine & Microbrew Tasting and Auction.

The community is invited to join the Friends at the Beardmore Building in downtown Priest River on Sunday, March 1.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Priest River or Blanchard libraries. Plans for the new addition to the Priest River Library are being finalized and construction will begin in early spring.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward this building project. At the wine and microbrew tasting event, residents will have a chance to sample a variety of wine and craft beers, enjoy good food and good company, and support the West Bonner Libraries. The fun begins at 4 p.m.

Donations for the auction will be accepted until Feb. 26 and can be dropped off at either library.
