Southwell to speak Monday

Leah Southwell will be giving a presentation Monday, Feb. 17, about her experiences in Chile at Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Ave. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.

Southwell will talk about the things she observed in Chile and how the political and social climate here in the U.S. have similarities to Chile.

Southwell has just returned to North Idaho after 7 years of living in Santiago de Chile and will share her personal story.
