Steve Burnham, 59, of Naples, was cited in the 477000 block of Highway 95 at 2:31 p.m. on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.

Gregg Ross, 29, of Spirit Lake, was arrested in the 5000 block of Spirit Lake Cutoff Road in Spirit Lake at 3:19 p.m. on a felony warrant.

A slide-off accident was reported on Trout Creek Road at 4 p.m.

Report of an information call in the Sagle area on Highway 95 at 4:12 p.m.

Officers respond to a report of a suspicious male in the Boise Street area in Kootenai at 8:10 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the Hickory Street area at 8:21 a.m.

After a drunken driving investigation on Fifth Avenue at 9:45 a.m., officers released the driver without charges.

A reckless driver was reported on Fifth Avenue at 9:45 a.m.

After a drunken driving investigation on S. First Avenue at 10:38 a.m., the driver was released without charges.

An officer was canceled prior to arrival in the 300 block of Halley Street at 10:29 a.m.

Report of a suspicious incident in the 1200 block of Pine Street at 11:07 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported in the 300 block of N. First Avenue at 11:57 a.m.

Jill D. Rose, 53 , of Bonners Ferry, was cited in the 600 block of Larch Street at 12:23 p.m. on a charge of petit theft.

Report of found property in the 600 block of Main Street at 12:31 p.m.

A 17-year-old Kootenai male was arrested in the 1000 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 12:55 p.m. on a charge of possession of paraphernalia.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 600 block of Larch Street at 1:54 p.m.

A warrant was served on a 17-year-old Sandpoint male at JDU on Samuelson Avenue at 6:02 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious male reported to be in the 2400 block of Shady Oak Lane at 6:20 p.m.

Officers advised that a 911 call on N. Ella Avenue at 9:12 p.m. was unfounded.

Feb. 13

Report of a drunken driver in the area of Euclid Avenue and W. Lake Street at 2:19 a.m.

A juvenile male was contacted in the Samuelson Avenue area at 4:06 a.m. and issued a verbal warning on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and tobacco.
