Christopher ‘Chris’ George Warren, 75

Christopher “Chris” George Warren, 75, passed away at his home in Coolin, Idaho, on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020.

He was born on May 19, 1944, in Spokane, Washington, to Bill and Elaine (Cook) Warren. Chris was a lifelong resident of Coolin. After graduating from Priest River High School in 1962, Chris attended New Mexico State College on a football scholarship. Chris then returned to Idaho where he continued his schooling at North Idaho Community College as he worked with his father building houses in Priest Lake, Idaho. He later went on to become an established electrician and started his own business, Warren Electric.

On Feb. 8, 1975, he married Marcia Jean Duncan. Together, they have two sons.

Chris was a member of the Coolin Sewer District for many years in Coolin, where he held the position of chairman for the Sewer District Board.

Chris had many hobbies he enjoyed such as CB radios, archery, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and snowmobiling but most of all. he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marcia Warren; his two sons, Jeremy (Rhea) and Eric (Heather) Warren; his six grandchildren, Meranda, Oliver, Aryah, Kash, Kolt, and Taya Warren; as well as his sibling, Dan (Kathy) Warren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home, 423 Second St., Newport, Washington.
