High school library a good one

High school librarian, Ben Phipps, made a trip to Moscow to visit the library to secure information asked for my teachers and students that could not be had from the school library. Properties targeted include the Joslyn Pole Company property, land south of the old Priest River dump along the river to the north end of Larch Street, and land near the high school lying outside the city limits.

Organizing to promote library district

A group of 10 library patrons, board members and Friends of the Library met Monday night at the Priest River Public Library to organize a renewed effort to establish a tax-supported library district here. The committee discussed what the boundaries of the district might be, without making any decision. The group will meet again and invites anyone interested to attend. Volunteers are needed to speak to groups to promote the district, said Sandy Babin, who chaired the meeting.
