Democrats host ‘Pizza & Politics’

SANDPOINT — A slice of pizza and a dose of political update are being offered to the community this Saturday, Feb. 29, by the Bonner County Democratic Central Committee at their annual Pizza & Politics event.

The event will take place from 1-3 p.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Ave.

“We’ll hear legislative updates from Idaho State Senator David Nelson, District 5, Benewah and Latah counties,” said Sylvia Humes, chair of the Central Committee. “This is a great time for us to get together, talk politics — which, of course, is a hot topic these days — and get caught up with what is happening in Boise during the legislative session.”

Bonner County Democrats have plans for a busy year that involves both state and national conventions, important elections, and putting forth their guiding principles.
