Brenda Graesser

Brenda Graesser, 79, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, surrounded by loved ones.

Brenda was born on August 24, 1940, in Mon-trose, Colo-rado, to Esther and Albert Gaswint. She was the second youngest of 13 children.

She is survived by her husband, David Jay; a younger brother, Aldon Gaswint; her three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Brenda was the chairperson of the school board for Little Lambs Preschool, where she had served for the last 10 years.

She was an avid quilter and donated many of her quilts to her church. She had a love for gardening, sewing, and crocheting.

Brenda was a generous soul and always put others before herself. She was a mother of three and fostered 12 children over the course of her lifetime.

She took good care of her family and was always happy to share her knowledge and skills with others.

She will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she has touched.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at Christ Our Redeemer Church Luthern Church, Sandpoint.
