Sandpoint welcomes Alpine Hand Therapy
From the shoulder to the finger, Alpine Hand Therapy has you covered.
Alpine Hand Therapy opened its doors to the community of Bonner County in August 2019. Owner Jared Rattray is a board-certified hand therapist with the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and has over 18 years in the business.
Rattray, his wife Charity, and their family moved to Sandpoint from Ellensburg, Wash. They said the decision to relocate wasn’t hard, after spending time here, they fell in love with the area, specifically the skiing and snow opportunities that Bonner County has to offer.
Alpine Hand Therapy isn’t just for hands; the clinic specializes in the upper extremities including the hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Treatment options for tendonitis, sprains, strains, fractures, and post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as pre and post-surgery care are available.
In addition, Alpine Hand Therapy proudly boasts the ability to provide custom orthoplast splinting for tendonitis to fractures. This includes, thumb tendonitis, wrist tendonitis, metacarpal fractures, finger and joint fractures. Custom braces are made in office, same day. A patient can come in for a visit and leave with a brace made specifically for them.
Hours are by appointment only and flexible to meet the needs of their patients. With patient care being their number one priority, they also bill all insurance companies.
