Christopher J. Stone, 56

Christopher J. Stone, 56, of Moyie Springs, Idaho, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 2, 2020, in Lewiston, Idaho.

He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada, and spent most of his childhood in Calgary, Alberta, before his family relocated to beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho.

From an early age Chris found a deep love of the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who loved sharing his knowledge of the sport. His greatest joy was time spent on the lake with family and friends. Chris also enjoyed snowmobiling and camping. He had an amazing love for animals and shared a special bond with virtually all that he met on his life journey.

Chris was a man of honesty and integrity, who put family above all else and a loyal friend to many.

His huge heart and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Stone, brother Gregory Stone, both paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his loving mother, Francis Stone; brother Ted (Irene) Stone; niece Jeannie Rowe; and nephew Christopher Stone.

A private celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2020.
