Libraries host ‘Live & Learn’ classes
Early February brings a Live & Learn program to each of the West Bonner Libraries.
On Thursday, Feb. 6, at 5:30 p.m., join chicken wrangler Lisa Johnson for an informative class on how to raise chickens. Topics include breed selection, coop and shelter requirements and predator protection. This class will be held at the Priest River Library, 118 Main St.
Artist Olivia Gennasi will bring her popular round reed basket class to the Blanchard Library on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will create a round reed basket that is both artistic and functional. There is a $5 materials fee and registration is required. Please bring a pair of needle nose pliers if possible.
Coffee and tea will be provided and students are welcome to bring a sack lunch. The Blanchard Library is located at 412 Railroad Ave.
