The Kaniksu/Coolin Lions Club presented the Melvin Jones Award, the second highest in Lionism, to Mike and Kim White for their many years of creative and dedicated work in the Priest Lake community. The award was presented June 3, at the Coolin post office following the monthly Lions Club meeting by Coolin president Jim Moffitt and Lions District Governor Frank Bega. The Kaniksu/Coolin Lions are looking for new members — snow birds welcome — to join them in serving the community and world-wide needs such as service dogs, eyeglasses, food, medical and more.
