Calliope clash

Calliope hummingbirds duel one another over access of a bird feeder on Bonner County’s north side on Thursday. Calliope hummingbirds are the smallest breeding bird in North America and are the smallest long-distance avian migrants in the world, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
