Register for youth, ladies golf clinics

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Parks and Recreation and golf instructor Michael Deprez are offering a pair of golf clinics this summer.

The first is an advanced junior golf clinic for youth ages 9-13. The clinic is designed for kids who have played golf before and are interested in playing competitively in middle school or high school.

The clinic will run Tuesdays, June 16 through August 25 at the Sandpoint Elks Golf Course from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The pre-registration deadline is today and the clinic fee is $100 ($5 non-resident fee).

The second clinic is for women age 18 and older. Two sessions are available and the first session runs Tuesdays, June 16 through July 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the U of I Driving Range on S. Boyer Avenue.

The online registration deadline for the first session is today. The cost is $100 ($5 fee for non-residents) and includes range balls and fees.
