Hope PIE hosting ‘Summer Fling’

HOPE — Forget Hope PIE’s annual Spring Fling. Instead, dive right into the group’s Summer Fling.

When the annual fundraiser had to be postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Hope PIE’s members were optimistic they could still hold the event — albeit a little later than normal.

That optimism was rewarded this week and the group announced it would be able to hold the annual fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, in the Hope Elementary School parking lot. The event will take place from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. In addition to a barbecue lunch, there will be a back sale, yard sale and a car wash.

Get a head start on the fun as the yard sale and the bake sale will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday.
